Hej all
May I please have a translation of the following baptism for Christian Myhre (particularly the occupation of the father, Gudmann).
AO 1686-1828 Hof Og Slot, København, opslag 56, first entry.
Med venlig hilsen
Michelle Larsen
Almost everything but the key word:
1747, June 3 *H.... Gudmann Mÿhre and his wife Anne Maria
Nielsdatter had their small son baptized by Hr. Bang at Christiansborg
castle church, and named Christian. Her royal
majesty dowager queen Sofia Magdalena was a sponsor in
that act. For that occasion she kindly had the following three present
on her behalf, i.e. Kammer-
junker Schlefelt, Contesse Hellemine von Sponeck who
presented the child at the font, and contesse Christiana von Sponek (sic), who
held the christning 'cap'. The child was born May 31 at two a.m.
*It looks like Heidor.... Written in gothic rather than italic script, it is treated as a title or position, but which?

Many thanks Ralph. I am sure this family must somehow be connected to my gggggreat grandfather, Christoffer Myhre, who was a toldcontroleur in Svendborg and born about 1728. I don't know where he was born or who his parents were. His most likely parent names are Gudmund/Frederik/Christian, Marie/Christiane, so those names seem promising.

Hej.
It starts: Lod Heidocke Gudmann ..... osv ......
And the name of the "KammerJuncker" was "Ahlefeldt".
--------------
Heidocke = Heiduk = Tjener el. lign.

Hej Jeppe
Thank you.
I was hoping for something a little more similar to toldcontroleur!
