Hej and Hello.
Can someone please help me to find the census records and death record for Jens Christensen Kjær?
He was born on 8 September 1866 in Vestervig. His father was Morten Jensen Kjær and his mother was Hansine Poulsen.
I have census records for him in 1870, 1880, 1890, but none after those dates.
Jens married Mette Kjerstine in 1887.
I would like to know what happened to him.
Thank you for your help.

Thank you Ole, Henrik, Kirsten and Inger.
Those photographs are amazing! The shoe maker sign, portraits of Jens and Mette and his daughter Laura, and the headstone photos are all wonderful. I had not seen any of them before. Thank you also for his death record and the reminder about the census data.
Sorry - Inger - you are right - I should have mentioned that Jens had moved - I am very sorry.
Can I please ask another question about Jens and his death record? Can someone please tell me the name of the cemetery where Jens is buried? I would like to be able to visit it one day.
Thank you all again
Hansine
I think I found the address of the Harboøre cemetery - which is where I think Jens and his wife Mette are buried.
I think the cemetery is attached to the Harboøre church, and is surrounded by the streets of Nørregade, Kirkegade and Søndergade.
Please let me know if I am wrong.
Thank you again
