Where do you have the information from that he is born 29. april 1841 in Martsoff (probably a misreading og mishearing).
Kind regards,
Jesper Skov
Its on his headstone here in Minnesota and we were told he was born in Martsoff Denmark as he was told down threw his children my GG grandmother was the one to inform her children and my Great Grandma told my Grandma and etc.. I believe its on his death certificate for him... I will have to look into that when I go to the history center here in Minnesota..
Hi, I see you have created a Find-a-Grave memorial for Anders.
Obituary that you have included for Anders Christian Christianson gives his birth date as 29 April 1841 and place of birth as Martofte, Denmark. Met and married wife Bertha Marie Peterson in USA. (this information can help the forum help you)
His death certificate should list his parents' names. Also his naturalization papers should be on microfilm at the Minnesota Historical Society.

NOTE: in the above, "Fyn" refers to the name of the island (also called Funen). It is not part of the political place name of Martofte, Stubberup sogn, Bjerge herred, Odense amt, Denmark.
The Rootsweb poster also refers to Kerteminde, a Danish municipality - same area on Fyn.

Yeah he was born in 1841 I was looking at my GGG Grandmother's year and thought it was his so that was my mistake i did fix his FAG memorial .. and thank you i'm still trying to go over your post
He is the one Jane listed, and here is his birth record from Stubberup, Odense, opslag 19,
parents Christian Christiansen and Anne Pedersdatter of Martofte.
He was confirmed there 15 April 1855.
[vedhæfting slettet af admin]
Here is Anders Christiansen's 1855 confirmation, that lists more clearly his parents and birth date.
He did not have a middle name Christian as listed in the obituary.
[vedhæfting slettet af admin]
Christian/Christen Christiansen's marriage is in parish record 1813-1830, opslag 79 under 1827.
His birth should be 1798, but I haven't found that or the confirmation records for 1812 or 1813.
