In 1880 census, a boy age 16 was listed as an apprentice to a Sadelmager, and after emigration to USA, he opened an upholstery shop:

An English list of Danish occupations lists for Sadelmager "saddlemaker, upholsterer"

In 19th century Denmark, did they do both, or was the term used alternatively for either?
