Hanne, the 1940 US census will be released by the US government April 2. Then it must be transcribed (entered into a computer).  I'm not sure how long we must wait before this family will be found in it. Sometime AFTER April 2.

The bithday is rigth for his birth in DK.

It look like Soren had also 3 children in his second marriage.

The man I help with this go on holliday today and will be back in a week so it is no hurry.
They know Soren was home in 1950 but any living know about his dead.

Just to update the forum - Hanne and I found that "her" Soren Skov Sorensen is the man called Skow Soren Sorensen in Robbinsdale, Hennepin, Minnesota, who died 23 Oct 1969. A contact of mine looked up that death certificate for us, and it bears the full name Skow Soren Sorensen, born in Copenhagen, occupation curtain cleaner, residence Robbinsdale, Hennepin, Minnesota. His birth date matches the one Hanne supplied for "her" Soren Skov Sorensen (07 Dec 1885). "Skow" married twice (at least), his second marriage to Marie Hiben. His full name of Skow SOREN is found on the birth record of one of his children from that second marriage. We found four children from that marriage; three are living, so we wrote about that in emails. For his daughter Echo, from his first marriage, we found one son, living, and found his children.  

We found nothing further about Soren's sons from his first marriage - Walter and Axel. Their mother was Marie Edlund.
