I haven't been able to find what happened to Kirstine Schmidt.  I can only find her Baptism in 1829 and a Census record at 6 years old in 1835.  I would like to find her death record.  I don't know if she lived long enough to marry.  If anyone likes searching, I would appreciate the help.  Below is a summary of what I think is relevent.  Thank you!

These are the only 2 records I have for Kirstine:
1) Birth Mar 5, 1829; Baptism Mar 10, 1829 Hammelev Sogn (Haderslev Amt)
#6 https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/en/billedviser?bsid=450657#450657,80741083
Father: Jens Schmidt
Mother: Christine Tofte (daughter of Soren Tofte)
2) 1835 Census in Åstrup as Kjestine Schmidt https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/cid3476301 living with her mother, brother Jens, sister Catherine and an unknown older woman.

These are dates and places to show where Kirstine's family is after 1835, in different parishes in Haderslev:
23 Mar 1839 - mother is married to Anders Kling in Åstrup Sogn, Haderslev amt
14 Nov 1844 - sister Mette Kling born in Halk Sogn, Haderslev Amt
9 Dec 1844 - sister Mette Kling died in Halk Sogn, Haderslev Amt
25 Sept 1846 - brother, Soren Kling, born in Grarup Sogn, Haderslav Amt
9 Sep 1860 - brother Jens Schmidt died in Grarup Sogn, Haderslev
1860 Census – Mother is in Grarup Sogn, Haderslev Amt living with her 2nd husband, their son Soren and a grandchild (a daughter of Catherine)
19 Oct 1864 brother Soren died in Grarup Sogn, Haderslev Amt
27 May 1869 Mother died and Kirstine is not mentioned (only a living child Catherine is mentioned as married to Peter Mortensen) #7 https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=450635#450635,80739816

hi,

I tried google.dk and searched wtih the following text:
"Kirstine Schmidt" 1829 hammelev

The quotation marks tell the search engine that it should only look for the exact wording within the quotation marks. I found a homepage with her information, so you can ask the owner for more information:
https://hansana.dk/webtrees/index.php?route=%2Fwebtrees%2Ftree%2Fsegalt%2Findividual%2FI67862%2FKirstine-Schmidt

I looked up her name on ancestry.se and found the record:
https://www.ancestry.se/imageviewer/collections/61607/images/48619_62021000437_0688-00066?treeid=&personid=&hintid=&queryId=771adeec83759e8c34adfdd3f756c10c&usePUB=true&_phsrc=Zzu424&_phstart=successSource&usePUBJs=true&pId=11938023

Kind regards,

Lennarth

Great, thank you!  I had to put in the exact date of the marriage in Ancestry to find the marriage record.

What is the Ancestry page you linked?  Is it the marriage record?  I have Ancestry, but it's not letting me open the link to Ancestry.se.

The ancestry.se-page is Ancestry for Sweden, but also open for searching in danish records from Denmark. You should be able to see the result, if you change "se" in the link to "com".

You can use notepad to change and clean the link.

I use ancestry.com, and it gave the following link to the death record (Folding parish 1863):
https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/61607/images/48619_62021000437_0688-00066?backlabel=ReturnSearchResults&queryId=f454e4c1c405eead54f726fac08d792a&pId=11938023

Her marriage record is here (Føvling parish 1861 no. 4):
https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/61607/images/48619_62021000437_0694-00141?backlabel=ReturnSearchResults&queryId=25f0fbe3b4a5b04bc6c9ac3d27f90a1c&pId=13630053

Kind regards

hi,

you're welcome. I suppose you found out about the ancestry.se. You also need to be registered and logged in to view church records on this platform and searching the Danish church records is free. The entry page for searching the Danish church records is here:
https://www.ancestry.se/search/collections/61607/

In the top right corner it says Logga in from where you can log in. I think .se and .com use the same login, but otherwise you can register for free on ancestry.se.

Kind regards,

Lennarth
