Hello,

My Anna Margrethe Kristine Meyland died 19 Oct 1833 in Store Heddinge, Stevns, Præstø, Denmark age 78 1/2.  The death record appears to name her father and where she was born.  To me it looks like she was born in Rendborg, Elling Horns, Hjørring OR Rendborg, Frederikshavn OR Rendsburg Købstad, Hytten, Slesvig-Holsten but I cannot decipher the birth place.

Thank you so much Inger.  I kind of thought she was going to be from Schleswig but I was hoping for Denmark because it is a lot easier to find records.

What do these two links mean?  They do not translate well but it looks like it is for spouses?

Enkekassen was a private pension scheme for widows.

The husband (Indskyder) paid a certain amount to the scheme, and if he died first, his widow would receive a pension.

In the database you can search for Indskyder, e.g. Efternavn: Severin, and Hustru (wife), e.g. Efternavn: Meyland.
