Looking for Andreas Rees islands købmand 1759-1763

Dear people

I am looking for any information about Andreas Rees he was a købmand in Vestmannaeyjum 1759-60, Húavík 1761-63 and Eyrabakka 1762, in Iceland. There are several letters from him in the National Archive in Reykjavík from 1759-1772. I can't find anything about him and have the suspicion that his name was written in a different way in Denmark!
