Ch
I am have been at a brick wall for two years in trying to identify where these parents of Wollesdatters parents listed as Wolle Christensen and Kiesten Wolles.  However, the document says Marie Dorthe died 11 Sept. 1755 which is two years before their daughter (**Woldborg), my ancestor, was born on 10 Aug 1757.... so something in not right!!  Any help I can get on the parents of Marie Dorthe Wollesdatter and Kristian Jensen will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Claude

**Woldborg Christensdatter was married to Anders Hansen (the guy whose parents I've been trying to locate forever!)

I simply don't understand your question !  ... parents of Wollesdatters parents ...  What's that?
Can you be more precise.

Hi Claude

The link you have given only shows copulation-weddings.
And in 1742 there is 16. nov. Wolle Andersen in ?? and Maren Andersdatter widow in St. copuleret
In 1750 there is  the 9th october Lars/Per?? Jepsen af Britslef and Woldborg Sørensdatter i Ollerup copulerede
And in 1753 the 29th June there is a Michael Nissen and Woldborg Hansdatter i Oll(erup) copulerede.

And you ask for the mother of Marie Dorthe who has a daughter called Woldborg.... ?? who is the person married in 1753 with Michael Nissen

But is the father to Woldborg Hansdatter Wolle Christensen , Woldborg wouldn't be called Hansdatter .
The word Wolle  in "jysk" - from Jylland - often refers to the name Ole, but of course he could be baptised Wolle .

As Ole writes please be more pecise.

Greetings
Grethe

Oh my!   I knew I was writing this to fast... and it may not make sense to any reasonable person:  Here goes -

1st generation is Anders Hansen and Woldborg Christensdatter who were married 26 June 1782 in Ørderup, Toftlund, Haderslev
Wolborg was born 10 Aug 1757 in Toftlund parishSe
                                                                        and her parents were:

Second generation:  Kristian Jensen and Marie Dorthe Wollesdatter and I don't know where either came from - I believe they were married
                                                                     8 Sept 1753 in  Ørderup

Third generation:  According to a FamilySearch entry, Marie Dorthe Wollesdatter's parents are Wolle Christensen and Kiesten Wolles.  The document says she was born in 1727 and died 11 Sept 1755 at age 28.  That makes Marie Dorthe's death a couple of years before her daughter was born.

Third generation:  I would also like to know when and where Kristian (Christian) Jensen) was born.

Because I don't know how to give you specific cites... I'll continue on a different reply.

Claude

Third generation:  According to a FamilySearch entry, Marie Dorthe Wollesdatter's parents are Wolle Christensen and Kiesten Wolles.  The document says she
was born in 1727 and died 11 Sept 1755 at age 28.  That makes Marie Dorthe's death a couple of years before her daughter was born.
You prob. refer to this, where the daughters name is MAREN Wollesdatter
https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&offset=0&query=%2Bgivenname%3A%22marie%20dorthe%22~%20%2Bsurname%3Awollesdatter%20%2Bbirth_year%3A1710-1738~%20%2Brecord_country%3ADenmark

And MDW was not born in Toftlund p. according to the name index.

Baptism of Christen Jensen MIGHT be here i 1729 in Toftlund

I think Marie Dorthe Wollesdatter and Maren Wollesdatter are twins.  I found what I think is the death record for Marie Dorthe (I know her surname should appear as Wollesdatter; however, her father's last name was Christensen.  Here is the cite, it is the first entry under 1774
https://www.danishfamilysearch.com/sogn346/churchbook/source139115/opslag15246836
I found a different entry for a Maren Wollesdatter, whose parents were Wolle Christensen and Kiesten Wolles and her death was recorded as 11 Sept. 1755... and her birth year was 1727 and she was 28 years old.  Her death was in Norre Logum, Tonder - and the penmanship was so wild I couldn't find it.  Marie Dorthe was 47 when she died in 1774 which would have made her birth in 1727.

I also think I found the death of Kirsten Jensen, Marie Dorthe's husband and Woldborg's father.  I'll send it on the next message.

Left side, 2nd from the bottom.  I haven't checked to see if it the birth dates match what you sent.  I've been trying to read all the deaths in Ørderup during those years and right this minute the base of my neck feels like somebody just hit it with a giant sledge hammer!!!  I'm going to bed.  G'Nite

Just looked at what you sent and I think yours is probably the more likely one.  I had another noted and I'll see if it fits better.

Claude Anders Hanson

No!  It was worse.  This one 80 years old and died in the 1760's.

Burial of Christen Jensen in 1800
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=202698#202698,38426108 right
Den 2den Junii - Enkemanden Christen Jensen af Schousbjerg, gl. 71 Aar mindre 6 Uger
The 2nd og June the widower Christen Jensen of Skovsbjerg, age 71 years less 6 weeks
(which fits exactly with the CJ bapt. July 13, 1729 in Toftlund, son of Jens Andersen)

And his wife Marie Dorthea's burial in 1774 (which you also found)
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=202698#202698,38426088 right
d. 23 Januarii blev begraven Marie Dorthea Christens af Ørderup, gl. 47 Aar og 18 Ugger.

So she was born ca medio Sept 1726 or 1727 (dep. on whether 47 is real or running year).
At her marriage she is said to be from Stenderup in Toftlund p., but she was not born there.

That's it for now.

Thanks.  She may have been born in Norre Logum, Tonder.  I'm going to the Family History center this morning and I'll ask Lynn Christensen if he can find the two births in 1727 recorded in that parish.  This is a big day here in the U.S...it is election day and I'll find out if the rest of the country is as disgusted with our president as I am!!!

Ole Westermann

Where you will not be able to find them acc. to the index for Nørre Løgum/Løgumkloster
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=237148#237148,45123873  or
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=237148#237148,45123942

Another close possibility is Gram parish, but with no records before 1730 !

Thanks Ole - I put another link in the Forum to find if there are any places mentioned in the burial record for Maren Wollesdatter.
