Hi,

I am not sure about how to read the age given in a burial entry on 29 Jul 1710 for Peder Graversen's (correct name?) son Jens [Stadil 1646-1742, Opslag 289]. It seems to be 1 months and 3 days, but the child that died was baptized on 9 Jun 1710 [Stadil 1646-1742, Opslag 156] and born on Dom. Exaudi, 1 Jun 1710 (if I read that correctly). In this case the child was 1 month and 29 days old.

Thanks,
Rick Larsen

Dom. Here S(øndag)  6  post Trinitatis was Juli 27th 1710.

I think the age of the child is 7 weeks and 3 days. Correct if the child died July 22th.

Month = Mens.

Peder Graversen is the correct name. Genitiv: Peder Graversens.
